Voters’ rights:

  • Article V, Section 1 of the 1987 Philippine Constitution states that suffrage may be exercised by all citizens of the Philippines not otherwise disqualified by law, at least 18 years of age, resided in the country for at least a year, and resided where they propose to vote for at least 6 months
