Gore's lawyer visits LENTE

February 12, 2010. "Where there's someone watching, people tend to cheat less", says recount czar Atty. John Hardin Young, who visited the LENTE headquarters in Makati to share his experience in the controversial recount that led to the Bush v. Gore ruling. "A good technology with a credible and truthful system cannot be corrupted.  Trust is important.  Preventive safeguards include sample printed ballots, a good source machinery, and protocols that are unbiased; otherwise, there will be a failure of elections."
